There is a theory that every 12k years our sun goes pop; a solar micronova that is responsible for periodic worldwide catastrophes and explains the sudden loss of the megafauna world wide 12K years ago and what destroyed the megalithic civilization, including the the ruins of Egypt and South America. The theory says that an electromagnetic wave emanating from the galactic center arrives at our solar system every 12 thousand years. The CIA even classified a book called The Adam and Eve Story by Chan Thomas that forecast these cyclic catastrophes. This could be worth looking into since the magnetic poles are currently moving and the galactic electromagnetic wave may be approaching. Does this happen? If so, when is the next catastrophe due?
Cyclical Solar Micronova
I think that you might be referring to Dr. Paul LaViolettte research on galactic super waves that originate from the core of our galaxy.
Dr LaViolette used to be very popular some 18 years ago. I don't recall a lot about his research but I think that his research shows that a galactic super wave hit earth some 12,000 years or so ago, and we are due for another one....Not a pretty picture for earth.
Below is the link of the original UNCENSORED book, The Adam and Eve Story by Chan Thomas.
And below is the link of the web page where I got the above link of the uncensored book:

there is evidence of micro novas found in ancient texts from India...
the wave is coming soon..... its not total destruction, but more like a cleanse.
Douglas Vogt of the Diehold Foundation is a proponent of this theory. His data is compelling (at least to me). I pray he is incorrect. This would make a supremely important target for Farsight...............
I very briefly checked the website of the Diehold Foundation. They are saying that the next geomagnetic pole reversal will be in 8986 days or about 24.62 years. And it looks like they have the exact date when this even will take place. Wow! I hope they are wrong!
There is a group called Suspicious Observers and they go over all of this in detail. It's very convincing.
