As eternal IS-BEs we have nothing to fear but our own lack of judgement. Courtney is telling us about our uniqueness and our special qualities that the others out there lack. I wonder if this is an unintended gift acquired when we lost our telepathic connections with others and had to learn new ways to communicate with words, actions, creations, beliefs, attitudes and so on. We can make thought experiments in the privacy of our own skulls and dare to think thoughts that would be forbiddden if our bullying leaders only knew how. We look like we are on the threshold of losing the civilisation we have created here. This is tragic as we could have really made something good and defended it. Sadly we seem to have the same capacity for cruelty and greed as the groups dominating us. I do not believe we can blame anyone or anything except ourselves for ending up in this mess.
I have wondered why the Greys have subjected abductees to visions of environmental disaster and impressed upon them the need to save our environment before it is too late. My first assumption was that it was a smokescreen to make them seem concerned about our wellbeing because: one, we already know this and secondly, the people they conveyed these visions to had next to no chance of ever doing anything about it. Surely they could have landed on the Whitehouse lawn and broadcast these visions to all of humanity, or they could have intercepted our TV transmissions to give us this message in a way our rulers could not sidestep.
But another thought occurred to me recently, perhaps it is a cultural misunderstanding because existential messages in their telepathic realm reach everybody with necessary force they possibly assume we must have a system of sharing these ideas with emotional force and changing collective behaviours. Their grasp of what we are may be far more limited that it appears. David Jacobs hints at this as he describes their repetitive and often stereotyped use of cheesy screen memories. The problems the hubrids have of grasping our way of life also echoes an inability to grasp what the life of an individual human entails. Each of us an island enmeshed in cultural artefacts and norms that serve symbolic as much as practical purposes in order to allow us to function collectively and interdependently.
I wonder about the reptilians and I think the idea of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer in the RV realm is interesting. I can't help thinking though that we are missing something here. Clearly they are beings like us in many ways but seem to easily see us the way we see animals, as lesser beings who can be exploited without remorse. In our human way of thinking they are cruel and barbaric but they probably see themselves as the good guys, even as victims themselves of terrrible circumstances of which we know nothing. I am all for fighting for humanity but all I see is humanity fighting, always the wrong people for the wrong reasons.
In my researches I heard it said that the Galactic Federation did approach the leaders of the United States, possibly others, before the Reptilians made their pitch. They warned the leaders of the danger of getting involved with the Reptilians but offered nothing in terms of an alliance, or gifts of technology and military advantage. It was a warning that was rejected. The reptilians' contract was welcomed in a world that was becoming increasingly polarised between mighty political and economic factions. Greed, stupidity and a propensity for violence to solve difficult problems won the day it seems. Perhaps we are so similar to the the reptilians on the venal side of our nature that they know what 'floats our boat'.
