From what I understand the Hall of Records Egypt is a set of Official Records from the Civilisation of Atlantis that was essentially run by the Orions.
Thoth, the claimed refugee of Atlantis took the records to Egypt for safe keeping there.
An underground room or Hall was setup to hold the records. Some of the records may have been transferred to the Vatican over time.
So they the rumors, but the chambers are still exist and in Egypt there at Giza plateau not all underground places were discovered.
The whole area has been scanned with ground penetrating Radar and in a nutshell there are a lot of tunnels and underground caverns there.
There hasn't been that much "opening up", at the moment as you would know the World and sites like these are all inaccessible due to various Lockdowns.
Time will tell how they go with "new discoveries".
