You are confusing the mental realm and the physical realms. What you say is true for the mental realm, but not for the physical realms, and the explanation is simple: The Law of Cause and Effect is the very idea that makes physicality possible.

So, in a physical realm (universe), time is linear, because it's part of the identity of the universe. It's not straight though, but revolves in spirals. If you stretched it, it would be a line – that's why we call it a time_line_.

Each timeline has a beginning. It begins when a previous timeline is splitted, or when a universe is created from the mental realm (which is essentially the same process). You even say it yourself: "...from where the physical even «manifests» into existence". This manifestation is the beginning.

Now, here's a very important question: Can you leave a universe, go back into the mental realm, and enter the same universe at a time before you left?

The answer is: No, because it would violate the law of that universe (the rules of that game). For example, imagine you're playing chess with another person, and the other person made a move you don't like. Can you take back the move of the other player? Of course the other player won't accept it. You can't disturb the progress of the other players, as it would violate free will.

But it's totally possible to make a copy of that universe and create your own game.

Now, how does the Mandela effect fit into the picture? As far as I'm concerned, it's totally possible that people remember a different universe. But it's not possible that someone changed an already existing timeline retroactively. A universe where the timeline can be changed that way is corrupt – or in other words: It's a game nobody wants to play because it's buggy. It would be like a chess game where the pawns can move like the queen – it wouldn't be chess anymore.

What I described here is called the Law of Identity, which is the foundation of Logic. Every universe is based on this simple law in order to have integrity, which is needed for cause and effect to create time.

Regarding the concept of time dilation, another quote from Aéius:

Yes, but time dilation doesn't violate the Law of Identity. It's just that some players perceive time differently than others based on the influences they are subjected to. It doesn't corrupt the timeline.

You could say it's not fair when some players perceive time differently than others. But that is resulting from the fact that it's part of the game we play in this universe to not know all the rules (natural laws) from the beginning. Instead, we have to discover the rules and adapt. It's a difficult game, that doesn't mean it's unfair.

Anyway, I knew this would happen, because, when some of the previous questions you had were answered to your satisfaction, you said so yourself that now you «have a million more questions» and that is a good thing but, what I did not say, was that, for each question you manage to have successfully answered, you will definitely end up with millions more questions.

You are breaking the definition of time when you say that time has been paused while at the same time 40 minutes passed. How can 40 minutes pass if time is paused? It's a contradiction.

So, the logical answer to that is: Time wasn't paused at all. It's possible that time was sped up within a distinct area such that it looked like the surroundings stood still. This would be a so called "time pocket", at least that's how I imagine them.

But there's another more reasonable explanation that I prefer: Time hasn't been manipulated, it was a telepathic communication instead. The man in the white robe delivered a 40 min speech within the fracture of a second, and the mind on the receiving end interpreted it as if the surroundings stopped to make the reception of the information and the perception of the outside would not contradict each other.

The materialistic/physical levels are where time passes, and that's every universe, because you need time in order to have an effect to occur after its cause. In contrast, what I call the mental realm, which is the origin of thoughts and dreams, doesn't need time. Ideas are timeless. But the expression of ideas needs time, and that's what the physical levels are for.

You, for whatever reason, believe that physicality is bad. I don't believe that. That's why I can be happy inside a universe and you can't. You are the one who is stuck, and you hate it.
