I've wondered the same thing, but I can't shake the feeling that earth humans have it programmed in their DNA to be trepidatious of reptilians much like a squirrel would be trepidatious of a snake or another predator such as a hawk. Reptilians are our predator. Engaging them in our current earth human form is foolish. Ideally I could see what your saying being tangible in the earth human collective consciousness as we know it if catastrophic disclosure happens, we solve the mysteries of the earth human past to where the earth human collective consciousness knows it's complete unabridged past, get rid of the reptilian-induced defilements to the earth human consciousness/experience, and destroy the death traps. At that point all who incarnate as earth humans will have the ability to know who they are within a reasonable timeframe within their lifetime free of the psycho interference caused by these pesky reptilians. Then once the collective have hit that milestone we can start parsing out the reptilian experience as the next mystery to solve.

Most human bodies now contain reptilian souls. They're hiding out here to avoid correction. That's why the world went insane recently. These beings are pushing the trans agenda and the divide and conquer and they control all world leaders. Very few of them will acknowledge their error and ask for forgiveness.

I've best seen it explained in Matrix V Gold Edition by Val. Aliens use sequential incarnation and humans use simultaneous incarnation. So aliens will have longer lifespans and more of their prelife memory intact and humans will have shorter lives and no memories, but since humans have many incarnations at once for the same spirit we learn and evolve much faster. So I'd think a reptilian has only one incarnation per dimensional level while a human spirit may have many souls and way more physical level lives going at once.

I haven't finished reading M5 but I have read enough to understand the idea of simultaneous v. sequential incarnations.

So if a sequential higher self incarnate inhabiting a reptilian body decides to incarnate as an earth human does that make them identify as 100% reptilian while the incarnate is living as a human? If so, wouldn't that be a form of punishment in their cosmic worldview?

What you're talking about is hive mind. These are not young souls but they're souls created by the Anunnaki on the astral to animate physical bodies and make this world seem more real than it is. To keep the game going. These organic portals are psychic vampires that feed off the energy they elicit in others through the suffering they create. They're basically background decorations that won't exist in the true light once this game ends.
