I agree that perception of self can be diferentiated from the body. The fact that 'I' can say "I have a body", can be understood in the same way, when I say, "I have a hat" or "I have a car", or anything else that I can perceive from the 'outside'.
This realisation raises some interesting questions about the little word; 'I'.
The idea of the 'Isbe' as the 'I' being an 'immortal cosmic' being is not new. It is something that has gone 'out of fashion'. Perhaps because of the difficulty in being objective about differentiation of the different aspects of our non-physical being.
I am not my 'emotions' either. I 'have' emotions, like I 'have' a body.
For some people the perspective is just 'semantics', a play on words.
However, consider the fact that the same life event's can trigger different emotional responses in different people. This suggests that each 'Isbe' has a unique relationsip with 'emotions'.
There is no doubt that Humans are complex beings and emotional manipulation has become a very successful psychological tool for achieving specific goals.
I am pretty sure that the advanced ETs are more aware of this complexity than many of us.
Consider what an intelligent being might do if they understood the relationsip between 'emotions' and the 'isbe' if they had a particular goal in mind?... and we all have a unique pespective on reality.
The events that 'trigger' emotions may be considered as a 'catalyst', rather than the 'cause' of our responses.
The fact that I can make choices about how to respond to to emotional experiences is a clue to exploring the deeper connections of my 'Isbe', my 'body' and my 'emotions'.
We appear to be 3 dimensional beings in more ways that 1 ♡
