In lieu of the recent conversation with Harvey, I'm concerned that we're seeing countries moving quickly toward digital currency, and literally getting rid of and/or outlawing cash. This seems to me like a very bold yet troubling move toward societal control.

Are we seeing political moves by the "bad ETs" to whatever end here?

Is there anyone reading this that is in a country that is having this problem right now. What is going on there.

I'm very specifically in a country that's not my home. partly because of this.

By the same token, it's also the country that is a the forefront of digital payments - so it's good to see cash still being used by some people (mostly the older generation - the young kids are using phones everywhere... and really have no idea about personal privacy.... where convenience is king!!!)
