Could it be this simple? Courtney says that one of the biggest concerns coming up is nation leaders signing agreements with our captors, representing us. I don't want to give consent to anyone signing on my behalf. So what about something like this?
***
I was born _birthdate_,
My given name is _name_,
My signature is _sign_,
I do not permit ANYONE representing me in ANY affair without my express written permission by my own written words, in my own signed writing, for that sole individual named for a timeframe not longer than the year I sign and until the end of the year.
I write this in plain English, no legalese.

If millions of people were to sign such a document, even variations of the same, then how could it be argued that the national leader is legally representing them, by signing a treaty with other ETs?
I mean, how complicated does it need to get? Is that not an indication of free will? Wouldn't such a statement logically eliminate their representation? All comments welcome. Thanks.
Probably.
Not unlike having all of those millions of people stand outside and call up to those nicer ETs that they do not accept the status quo, nor the arrangements being made behind their backs (and a few thousand miles to the south).
