I agree that an US and THEM mentality is over-simplistic and too reactionary. However, just because an outdated model of the brain have termed something in our brain "reptilian" doesn't make it true.
It is called the basal ganglia in humans, and actually all vertebrates have them in some form, that doesn't mean all vertebrates are reptilians, thats silly. Its just a primal part of the brain that governs automatic self-preserving behavior patterns, which ensure our survival and that of our species.

I do however see that the RV and whistleblower testimonies have shown that there is a vast range of ETs with a vast range of agendas out there.
Many could be friendly, but also many can be manipulative, controlling or hostile. I dont personally think its a good idea to just start singing Kumbaya and hoping for the best.
I also think apathy and despair will not do our species any favors.
What we have seen is that historically in mythology and from RV and whistleblower testimony that Reptilians are capable of unimaginable acts violence, including destruction of entire planets or civilizations.
So probably not something to be trifled with.
Keep your head on your shoulders, think clearly and we might one day break free.
