You ever watch the flick, They Live? Cult classic from 1988. It's based on the very short story, "Eight O'Clock in the Morning" (1963), by Ray Nelson. In the story, the protagonist, George Nada, "wakes up" after attending a hypnotist's show and realizes that humanity is asleep and ruled by reptilian aliens who live among us. The film is off the hook.

Hi Silvano, that was a great movie, it was the Matrix movie of its time before the Matrix movie and X-files was a thing. Although it was considered just a B grade movie, it was so different and ahead of its time that its value did not get appreciated until years later. The only thing that could be comparable during that era was the television series V. But in comparison it did not compare in how thought provoking the movie was. Thanks for the link as I did not realise that bit of history was linked to the movie.
