Interesting question Natalie.
Aziz might mention something on this subject in one of the upcoming Projects. I see that sometimes when we have questions about topics, or the way Remote Viewing is done, they are answered out in the open on video like in the Forecast Round-ups or Introductions. He does read the forum (he has mentioned this lately).
I don't know the answer to your question, but if the entirety of each Farsight Project or Forecast, are conducted under the Institutes strict scientific methodology and protocols, then I am assuming that regardless of whether the Viewer has come into contact with the information or read a book previously, it should not influence the RV outcome as the Target itself is unknown.
Yet, here I see an issue - the physics. A transference of unconscious data influencing the session down the chain. If the person who has read the book is the same person co-ordinating the study, designating the Target, the Question, timetabling the sessions, examining the data, scrutinizing the outcomes, and making the conclusions - then that where I see possible bias in the sessions data, and a form of transference from the start of a Project over to the Remote Viewer and returned in a form, to the end results.
Then there's other variants to consider. Does the Remote Viewer have any knowledge of the book or its contents, read the book, know the author? What does and how does that effect or influence the data?
In the next Mysteries Project (which I'm looking forward to) Farsight has suggested the reading of a book by Tony Rodrigues. "Ceres Colony Cavalier" - a biographical account of his 20 years spent in abduction by aliens, and his account of his recalled experiences.
The book was released 31st December, 2021 - so the book is not that old - but parts of story has been told previously.
I'm not sure how this Project was approached by Farsight or what information will be delivered to us when its released. I'm sure FS has a library worth of data that could co-relate and align with aspects of what Tony Rodrigues tells of his experiences. But I hope that's not just what this Project is about, the verification aspect. I hope it can expand into information which is known or hidden and yet not 'verified'.
And I see what Michael is saying (in his reply to the header post) in the sense that there is a connective link to a few things. The transference of unconscious subconscious information between the book, the author, and a connected interest by people looking at the information. In a sense, I don't think you can eliminate those connections - the Farsight team inclusively, Dr Salla, Elena Danaan, Tony Rodrigues. Then again, I have no idea what the upcoming Project's purpose and intention is, or what it will reveal. Does their connections to each other and the information and knowledge they have bring something to the table collectively regarding/influencing the type and quality of the data? What if connections like that enhance the outcomes - that's a possibility too, but it gets a bit entangled (my line of thinking) if a Project is only there to prove that Remote Viewing works or can be verified. To me that's not exactly the point.
But anyways, nice question Natalie!
