The similarities between the death trap concept that Courtney says is happening matches pretty perfectly with scientology. When i was describing it to a friend, she said I really need to ask this.

Is farsight connected to scientology? The similarities were so strong, my friend was immediately suspicious.

Even if the answer is no, then it creates a fascinating new avenue of investigation. I see Morton brought this up before, but I dont see much followup. How the heck does scientology seem to have the death trap process described so well- and it is tied to a pretty crazy ancient aliens trapping souls on earth using volcanoes theory...which isn't all that different than the basic idea farsight describes. This connection is worth discussion and investigation.

Bill Ryan (the ex of Carry Cassidy, Camelot Project) is absolutely convinced that Alien Interview (Lawrence Spencer) is fictional. Mainly because it so much resembles scientology which he knows very well.
He says "There is a smoking gun on almost every page." (I myself am open to the possibility that Spencer has real material but 'added' his views to it. - Time for a FS project).
Courtney is obviously a great fan of the book, he often uses insights from the book in his talks and interviews and says that the book comes very close to what Farsight finds out. You would almost think that he is into scientology also...

All of this will continue to be fragmented information until at least several reliable RV groups assemble and independently corroborate the facts. HRVG and Spirit Science come close to matching Farsight. Spirit Science I think uses the word Moksha but still same concept.

Problem with organized religion is they don't go back and "check the evidence" using independent RVers. They probably do get close to the truth and then their top leaders get mentally manipulated or something.

For L.Ron Hubbard to start off as a scifi writer works so much against them. Even if it were true, the history damages their PR catastrophically.

So much focus on if Farsight is connected to this religious group or cult or this or that, who cares?!! Is it that relevant enough that we have to put our focus on it? From my personnel view i don't believe it is connected nevertheless doesn't mean there isn't similarities, this is the same thing people asking if scientology, Kyballion, AllatRa, Christianity, OriXá, Indu and so on if it has connections with Shamanism, which the answer is yes, it has bits and pieces of those ancient indigenous cultures, of course the way you "use it" is going to determine who you are in terms of practice/activity.
I believe we have to put every question on the table so we can delve into the truth of everything if possible, however im also wondering if these narratives are coming also from a fear belief system, meaning, it seems that the more we delve into the data that Farsight shows, no matter how much the rabbit hole we've been use to, it is still overwhelming to some degree, so much so, that we start to question it not from a state of mind of trying to debunk and delve into the information and through the data collected we can find more answers but through a state of mind of rejection, hence we start to question the validity of this Institute by pinpoint it to, in this case, to cults and churches that have a suspicious pass/energy, or that are connected to some degree to not so good activity, could it be?!
is a tough spot to be in to those that create targets, one day they are amazing the other day they have bias due to heaviness of the data that is presented.
Once again i believe we have to put everything on the table, balance is everything, this means skepticism and belief goes hand in hand and it is also a healthy procedure ergo our own discernment into observing ourselves, to see where those questions come from, is it me or not, and if yes does it still has truths in it regardless of my belief system or not!!
in that way i agree with the notion that we have to debunk what was supposedly debunked, until we find enough data that can satisfy the majority into an agreeable place, if that exists!

I don't think I've seen Courtney actually make any such statements about whether he's had any connections to Scientology or not.

As Hubert wrote above, some of FS does come from the book Alien Interview, which does have a lot of overlap with higher Scientology ideas (beliefs??)

Also, the history of Remote Viewing (as it currently is called) has direct connections, with Hal Putoff, Ingo Swann and Pat Price all being higher level members of the CoS many years ago, and which probably bled into their research at SRI in the 70s. Did Courtney follow a similar path? Don't know.

I personally do think it's a good idea to get at least some of the 'tech', as it does help to regain memories (and that includes currently latent abilities).

What makes this topic interesting is that both generally have their 'belief' systems formulated by personal experiences. A 'real' scientologist would believe in the Death Traps because they recall having gone through them - not just because someone wrote about them in a book, and they're expected to just go along with it... (at least, in theory!) Similarly, people should be trying to do projects on the DTs using RV (although, I admit, that setting this up would be a bit of an issue, as one should be *completely* blind to a target - and discussing this makes one less blind).

As far as I'm concerned, names don't matter, and we should be very cautious about judging based on names and incomplete or even non-existent knowledge.

When people connect to each other, cooperating towards a goal, the only thing that matters is: Do they believe in the legitimacy of slavery or not. Slavery being the believe that one ISBE can legitimatley own the body of another one. Unfortunately, most of the people on Earth seem to believe that, funneling that belief into government. That's why it's so easy to use the governments and order followers to keep the prison planet running.

I don't know enough about Scientology and wether they believe in slavery or not. Same thing for Harvey's group. I know that Farsight doesn't believe in the legitimacy of slavery, but at the same time, Farsight avoids to give that topic and its implications enough thought and consideration – as if the prison planet is merely a cosmic accident with no karmic law behind it.

So you're saying that Scientology believes that slavery of the body is irrelevant, but slavery of the thetan is not, as if there was no connection. But in reality, there is. The ignorance of that connection is what psychologists call dissociation:

I think that the dissociation of the thetan/ISBE by declaring the body it owns irrelevant is the result of a psychological trauma. Evil provided evidence that the ISBE can be enslaved. The response to that was to disconnect ISBE and body as if they are two different realities, which they are not. It's like having a car accident and then saying that you weren't in that car, so you don't feel to be part of the trauma, while in reality, you are and suffer from the consequences.

I think this thread should lead to a new project... TARGET : Hubbard at moments of inspiration when developing the content of Scientology... FOCUS 1 : The beings inside his head... let us talk to them... and then find their boss... and so on...

The purpose of this project is to try to understand why his "content" is so similar to what Farsight is getting... in other words to probably the truth of spiritual tech... So what was HIS source?

Did he think he was inventing stuff? Did he re-organized what he had learn from his study of the occult... like a scholar? Did he remember a past life who knew all these things? or is another entity streaming the stuff to him?

Might make for a good project? Perhaps an evil/manipulative faction of extraterrestrials is running the show in this cult/group?
