Of the common reported experiences of OOBEs, is the proverbial tunnel of light, the light and loved ones or wise ones that had passed on.

It occurred to me that these experiences may actually be interaction with the Death Trap technology. That being the case, I wonder if there is potential to poke around at this system, learn about it. Or maybe that's just not a good idea :)

I have personally been out of my body (that I can recall) only twice, spontaneously. While I never saw "the light" I was "air that could see 360 degrees" and the environment was muted colors, in the gray spectrum (I've heard this reported).

So, it could be that when we OOBE, we can get around through certain places -- but access to anything outside of this relative area might potentially be detected and controlled by this Death Trap technology that might induce some illusions of its own.

Curious of other's thoughts on this.

Parts of this seems like you are conflating a(n) OOBE with being the same as an NDE.

The first time I experienced something similar to an NDE, I was intentionally trying to leave my physical-body, not as a suicide, but, because I was a two-year-old who realised that these weren't good earth-life-parents, and, I wanted to have no part of them; I was just trying to leave as an Is-Being.

The first time I experienced an OOBE was during a meditation-time as I was falling asleep; the first thought that came to mind, considering that I was conscious of the fact that my physical-body was sleeping in a dorm room, was basically : «OMG ! Did I just die or something!?»

For the duration of that first-time OOBE, I seemed to have lightning-fast speed-and-reflexes, like a hyper-ninja of sorts and was dodging multiple attacks of this tentacle-type space-monster or whatever it was; back then, I knew far less about psychic-phenomena and the «spirit-world» than I do now, and, what can I but say; I believe that you need a STRONG MIND to be able to over-come Spirit-Traps.

The basis of this is in the combination of when I came to a past conclusion that «faith» applies primarily to the spirit-world, rather than the physical-world, and, ANY amount of «doubt» becomes «fatal» to your ability to do things like «move mountains» or even «split mountains in two» just as the very Messiah himself talked about as a metaphorical-reference if the writings about him in that manipulated by religious-leaders book is to be believed; I believe you can even DESTROY those «Death-Traps» if your MIND is STRONG ENOUGH. And we can all even (potentially) co-operate together on this...

Consider how the effect(s) seem(s) to be amplified when groups of people meditate together; studies have also been done about how groups of people who pray together regularly seem to be able to invoke significant-effects according to the research of Dr. Dean Radin; Is-Beings whom are willing to co-operate for everyone's «spiritual-benefit» should also be a powerful-influence... probably !

My take on the "death traps"...

... Don't take an American car on British roads. It will rapidly turn into a "death trap".

Likewise, a Brit in America should never try to enter a property uninvited. That's another sort of "death trap". David Morehouse has often queried whether a person would be stupid enough to close the garage door on his property during a power blackout, when a generator was running. I can't help but feel "That's the sort of stupid helpful thing a Brit abroad would do, to prevent the generator from being stolen".

If you think about it, there are many many kinds of "death trap". If you apply one ruleset to a time/space where the ruleset is different, then physical death is a distinct possibility.

Whether or not it's always permanently fatal though... read Lyall Watson, "The Romeo Error". Telling dead people from living people is not as easy as you might think.

As Robert Monroe reported, there are levels accessible beyond the basic astral plane -- he mentioned leaving his astral body, in some other form and traveling. There are others who have reported doing this, and running into "the light". Most recently, Jade Shaw reported this in her interview on GAIA's "Beyond Belief" with George Noory.

So my theory is that there may be some investigative ability here, in exploration and poking at (for lack of a better term) the death trap technology. That's just a theory, however.

I've only been out of my body (that I remember) twice -- and these were spontaneous. It was fantastic, though.
