After being a subscriber for about 3 months, I have viewed just about all the content there is on farsightprime.com. I enjoyed it very much, but in my opinion there is still too little content for a subscription service, compared to other streaming services, such as Netflix.
I have a couple of suggestions to deal with this issue:
1. Make a deal with Gaia.com to allow their subscribers access to your content.
This will greatly increase the awareness of Farsight and RV in general. It will also generate income, since Farsight will be selling its content to Gaia. Gaia passed 500.000 subscribers in 2018 and has more than 8.000 hours of programming, including shows dealing with to RV.
The content on Gaia.com is in line with the content on Farsightprime.com. I dont think there is a need for concern of censorship, considering the material already there, being no less alternative/fringe.
Farsightprime might lose subscribers if all its content can be seen on Gaia, so be sure the deal you make makes up for this.
I can easily see some great synergetic benefits in a cooperation between Gaia and Farsight on various fronts, which I will get into in a later post.
2. Another options could be to purchase content from 3rd party providers, the same way Netflix operates. This could for instance be taped sessions from other remote viewers. This is in my view the worst option of the two given here, but still better than losing subscribers who might experience the same content shortage that I have experienced.
I do not think distracting FS content will be a wise move at this time.
