I know this was a long time ago, but I would like to know if there was any truth to the Heavens Gate claim that their members were picked up by an alien ship that was disguised as an earthbound comet. The members had to leave their bodies behind, resulting in a mass suicide.

We’re the cult leaders really speaking with aliens? If so, was this a trap for the members, or was this an escape from the death traps? Who are these aliens? What were the members’ reactions when they crossed over to the after-life? Where are they now (trapped and reincarnated, escaped and free in their different dimension, we’re they part of the Federation of Worlds, etc)?

Mass suicides by death cults are rare, but this isn’t an isolated case. I’d like to know if there’s any alien manipulation there, or if a lot of these people are just ill.

I am glad uve started this topic although i dont think Farsight and Courtney will appreciate it much.
This was one of the scandals and one of the clear misses which unrelated (as much as that can be said since Heavens gate wasnt related to Farsight but acted on the information provided by Farsight) to Farsigh had a huge blowback and negative image in media.

It also had a huge blow on remote viewing in general.

I am amateur astronomer, young one but still. This same topic came to my mind as well. I have interest in both remote viewing and astronomy so this was a perfect mix of the two so i was able to ask about this on an astronomy related forum. I have asked older members of the forum who have had the chance to observe Hale-Bopp comet if anyone has seen any anomaly or "companionship" to the comet.
None have seen anything and refused such an idea.
In one article the companionship of the comet was associated to the error on the camera with which "mysterious object" was shot.
That was the only image of the companion and the only proof of it existing despite so many astronomers observing the comet, which was quite an attraction at the time and many have been looking at it, taking images of it, sketching it and so on.

I wanted to critically address this myself.
Just because Courtney claims that basic gestalts and contact with the target have been established, that alone does not automatically mean that everything else reported in the session is correct as well.

Another example is a project about LAX being destroyed or underwater, as well as a nuclear bomb being detonated within New York city if i am not mistaken. All these were done in the 90s.
With all projects basic gestalts and contact with the target has been met, and as Courtney says (or something along those lines) "if we accept that those those contacts with the target have been met and are correct, we can assume that the rest of the session is correct as well" which clearly wasnt true on these 3 projects which i remember from the top of my head.

Most of the targets r unverifiable (mystery) so we cannot know the accuracy percentage of Farsight or remote viewers.

Also, Joe McMoneagle often said how remote viewing data cannot be the sole source of information upon which you can act upon.

Also during the one month pause which viewers have taken, in which Courtney have had reflections, i have noticed that he has a lot of personal beliefs and persuasions which i suspect have spilled over to sessions by perhaps poor tasking.
Most of the sessions correspond with books which he believes are true.

Thus sessions provided by Farsight are not following double blinded protocol.

Also ive noticed lately that viewers do not use none descriptive words to describe what they see. In fact things they say in sessions might be seen as deductions since they r specific.

Then there is a matter of "pulling everything together" and seeing what u wanna see in sessions and interpreting it the way it suits u.

Have you heard about "xmas tree attack" if i am not mistaken?
Back when Star Gate project was active and run by military, remote viewers pulled a prank on Ed Dames (from who if i am not mistaken Courtney learned remote viewing) who was instructor and monitor. Remote viewers were describing a Santa and his sleigh, coming from north pole, and Ed Dames saw sleigh, interpreting that as helicopter sleigh, so his conclusion was "russians r using helicopters to come over north pole and canada for a surprise attack on USA.

Then there is the matter of different remote viewers (and i mean really good ones) coming up with different results for same targets in different projects.

When i first came across Remote viewing, i bought into it all without second guessing it.
Over time ive started to develop more sceptical mind.
I do believe that remote viewing can work but its impossible to have 100% accuracy in remote viewing.

One more thing i have noticed
Years back when i first came across remote viewing and Farsight, Courtney used to always say "but dont take my word for it, look at the data for yourself, make up your own mind".
It was left to us to decide what we think of it.

Lately, i feel like it has turned more into a form of "preaching".
He has his own beliefs and things which have influenced him and hes projecting them onto us.
Intelligence briefing has turned into "here is what i have read, what i think, how i see that, what i believe and how u should think as well"

I am sorry if i am a bit harsh but i think this is all a feedback which should be taken as a constructive criticism which would help improve things hopefully.

I always watch and enjoy the remote viewers’ reports and I give no more or less credence to the information than I do anything else. It’s another piece of the puzzle to be evaluated, that’s all.

Really? Do you expect traditional scientists (albeit part-time ones) using conventional instrumentation to see, and then believe in an unconventional body like the hale-bopp companion?

Allow me to give you a hint: “everything is frequency”.

You say that you are young, so you cannot talk from memory about things that you did not consciously experience either because you were not born, or you were too young to be aware of world events. Therefore, it would be beneficial for you to do some thorough due diligence before reaching your conclusions.

I don’t know if you are old enough to know the following adage that was widely used in the early days of personal computers: “garbage in, garbage out”.

With no due diligence, you will be bunched into the clique of miserable malcontents who first appeared at Farsight about 2 years ago after the US presidential elections of November 2020.

Jean, i am 33 years old just so that its not assumes that i am in my teens or whatever.
As much as anyone else, i like to follow some "scientific" methods so to say.

Hale-Bopp comet was one of the most interesting objects in the night sky i dare to say of the 20th century. It was visible even by a naked eye.
I am sure it was a reason for some to get into the astronomy as well.
Now, there are numerous amateur astronomers all over the planet.
You can be a visual astronomer, looking thro an eyepiece and observing, or you can be astrophotographer, having a camera attached to the telescope, taking long or short exposures over extended period of time.
Human eye does not have the option to make longer exposures the way camera does. Also human eye can blink, look away for a second and so on, but cameras which r attached to the telescope, taking image after image with longer exposure can see a lot more.
With so many astronomers looking up, both amateur and professional, with so many devices pointing at it as any given time, you would think there would be another image of the object.

Lets not forget that this whole thing started by a "part time scientist taking a pic using a conventional instrumentation"

Also Courtney has made claims on Art Bell show how companion is 4x larger than a planet Earth. That kind of the object would be seen, probably even by naked eye without the need for a telescope. With binoculars for sure.

Simply put, one glitch image has produced a false session, and no wonder since there was nothing there.
Ed Dames is known as a doomsday guy. He always saw some pending doom and kept coming up with new prediction, i must say im glad he was wrong.

Now, lets talk about the fact that different viewers or groups have had different results for same targets?
I try to follow different RV groups and viewers, look in the past, find out as much as i can. Look into other projects. I do not limit myself only to a Farsight (bubble). I like to seek second opinion as well.
For example:
Joe McMoneagle has said that he has done Egyptian pyramids as a target. His conclusion was that there was a lake around the pyramids which has been used as a leveling platform for a saw which was used to cut stones if i am not mistaken. Also he saw some type of raft by which stone blocks have been transported.
This does not corroborate report done by Farsight. One would hope that all (good) viewers would be able to see same target with same outcome, would you not agree?

Another target which Joe has done was Rowsell. He said how in his session there was a crush of some experimental vehicles, it wasnt alien in origin nor it was a weather baloon.
Again, different results.

Another example, Ed Dames and his group has remote viewed Phoenix lights in 1997 and his results were that it was a hoax pulled by some company using lasers.
Farsights results are different as we know.

Daz Smith has had a group of remote viewers who wanted to predict the outcome of presidential elections and they came to the results which indicated that Trump would win and have 2nd mandate. That one was 50-50 chance and it was a miss.

There are many other examples i am sure where it shows how unreliable RV data can be.
Reason why RV data alone should never be taken on its own, and definitely not as facts.

I am just making observations
If we approach this scientifically we want to have positive results, good track record, statistics and so on.
Sheer belief in something does not make it true, i am sorry.

I am not a debunker, i do believe that remote viewing can have good results, but one must have a sceptical mind as well and try to look at things objectively. Not follow something blindly just because that is what suits them and their beliefs.

I admit that when i first came in contact with remove viewing and farsight, seeing declassified results back when Star Gate was active, Ingo Swanns results, i bought into it all and "religiously" was taking every single session in its entirety as a fact.

But over time, as i was learning more, looking at a greater picture which was outside oft his happy little Farsight bubble which "played the tune which i liked" so to say, where everything is aliens, my scepticism kicked in not because i am a denier but because i dont see consistency across the board and there is no verification of those results.

Also i think i came across Farsight at least 4 years ago, before farsightprime ever existed, back when Dick and Daz did all the work, following them ever since, waiting unpatiently for every new video. I was hooked into it like no other.it resonated with me and made sense.

I hope that you can see how i came to question things, what my method was.
It am not a malicious miserable hater who is out on a witch hunt.
I use my observing, logic and data presented and available to me to come to my conclusions.
I meant no disrespect to no one really but i am free to express my thoughts and observations as anyone else is.

Another point which i would like to add.
If we want for mainstream academia to recognise remote viewing, we need consistency, we need verification and statistic and i think one of most important things is repeatability resulting in same conclusions.
Science needs experiments which can be done again and again with same outcome in order to say how some theory is correct.
2+2 is always 4, it cant sometimes be 5 or 7.

Do you think that these kind of questions wont be raised by scientific and academic community?

That being said, ill also give an example where one target done by three different groups gave same results.
That was the origin of corona virus.
Farsight, Cryptoviewing( Daz Smith and Dick Algire) and John Vivanco have all done seperately the same target resulting with the same conclusion.
Now that is something i can get behind.
That is what we need, repeatability done independently with same outcome.

I’m learning so many different perspectives from all of you. I’ve followed Courtney’s work for just over 9 years now. While I, myself, am skeptical about all of this until I can experience it for myself, I really enjoy the FARSIGHT content. I love it when intellectuals aren’t afraid to push the fringes of science and our perspectives of reality. I didn’t know that the Heavens Gate cult was at all connected to FARSIGHT. But, now that I know that there’s something there, I hope some clarification of any relation is presented. In my opinion, I fear that FARSIGHT will be seen as a cult, or a new “religion.” My personal objective in joining FARSIGHT is experiencing a FUN quest for TRUTH. Thus far, I’m very pleased with all of the videos, and extra pleased to see so many people willing to say, “okay, I understand the narrative… but, what ELSE could be happening? What am I not perceiving, yet?”

I love science. I love challenging commonly accepted conclusions. Thank you all for your contributions to this topic.

Eloy, i am glad that youve started this topic because like ive said, it has been on my mind a while ago as well but i just was maybe reluctant to start it myself.

There is not connection between Farsight and Heavens Gate cult.
Heavens Gate cult was looking for a reason or rather a "sign" to "exit" and they have found it in Farsight's claim how anomaly seen on that one picture was a space ship 4x bigger than Earth.

We all choose what we will do with the knowledge and information we have.
Their belief was that they were aliens in human bodies, who would one day leave this planet on a spaceship, which later, after one of their leaders died (and showed how they are human and as flawed as anyone else, but that didnt matter cuz remaining leader switched up the narative) so now they were gonna leave their vehicles (bodies) behind and "exit".
They chose to die so their souls would be picked up by this supposed space ship and that placed Courtney Brown and Farsight insititute on a spot light, a very bas publicity if i may say so.

You mentioned you follow other RV groups. Do they have YouTube channels or websites you can link? I’d like to find other perspectives also

Two channels that i can think of are "RemoteViewed" and "CryptoViewing"
There was also a John Vivanco's channel but i cant seem to find it anymore. Then where are different fb groups where remote viewers are gathering.
Also on Daz Smith's website there is a collection of good material.
Also there are Art Bell's shows related to remote viewing including the ones with Courtney Brown.

Just a comment on this - I think you outline an interesting observation here.
I have a friend who is an amateur Astronomer of many years. He has the wiz bang equipment - and I have talked to him from my perspective of things in the night sky, and he has told me his - but he does not believe in UFO's because he has not seen one. To him all anomalies have an explanation in astronomical science.
When we talk (and we have some great conversations) its like 2 parallel universes talking with each other.

Thing is, anything that we cannot identify is technically a UFO since it is an unidentified flying object.
Its not aliens by default. We just cannot identify it at the time.
Once you get into astronomy you start learning about different objects above your head.
There are different softwares which track movements of satellites too.
So its easier to recognize stuff.
One night i spotted this object which looked just like any star but while other starts were loving out of my eyepiece due to rotation of earth, this one thing stayed stationary.
I got so excited cuz thats unusual.
It was a UFO for me.
Then tomorrow ive took my observation logs, altitude, azimuth, and other info and using a website which tracks satellites ive located my mystery UFO (no more), it was a geostationary satellite above Africa.
Still, it was amazing find for astronomer.

So ppl who have less experience in night sky tend to see more UFOs and cant put them in any other category so for them they remain UFO while astronomers can often find out what that might have been.

That being said, some have seen weird looking movements.

I am not dismissing the existence of aliens or that RV has some results.
But not every UFO is alien and not every RV session is a hit and especially isnt 100% accurate.

Just to say about UFOs - there are still people for whom the existence or not of UFOs is a question. I can only say that not only is this beyond doubt but it has been formally acknowledged by officialdom. There are radar tracks of course and who knows what NASA and NORAD are holding back. What they are, where they are from and who or what is controlling them, has not been revealed in any sort of public way at all. We are left with accounts of abductions, circumstantial and anecdotal evidence of all kinds of encounters and a mass of photographs and videos which we are all at liberty to mistrust or laugh at. In here of course we have another kind of evidence. At least what you find here is verifiable or deniable if you do the the RV training. So that is the challenge.

I just wanted to say that astronomers throughout history have reported UFO type phenomena. There is a problem with astronomers in general though - they are equipment oriented and go out viewing on a mission. They are focused on zooming in on a tiny portion of the sky, they have time limited goals and objectives and when not looking intently at some remote object they are engaged with their equipment: setting it up, calibrating it, keeping it optimised for the task and so on. Hell of a thing setting up a scope and getting the motor calibrated with the sky and dealing with the minutiae that can spell success or failure. Despite this, astronomers do also see UFOs.

There are a lot of interesting objects picked up recently in moon astronomy. Regularly objects are observed criss crossing the surface and throwing shadows onto the surface too and videos are made available. The technology for this is easy to obtain and within a price range that many enthusiasts can afford. You may not believe what you see online but at least, if it is important to you, you can try to replicate it. I only fully trust UFO videos of objects I have already observed. I have seen around 50 definite objects of various kinds now. Lots more sightings with question marks - odd but not enough seen. Sightings seldom last for more than a few seconds but some have lasted as long as 20 minutes or so. I am more interested in viewing through binoculars than getting some blurry mobile phone footage. I want to get as much detail as I can for my own conviction and knowledge.

I insist that anyone can see UFOs if they put in the time. I reckon about 1 UFO for every 5 hours of concentrating on the sky - day or night it does not matter. Try my 2 minute test. Pick out a cloud or a plane for example and concentrate on it for 2 minutes. Keep you attention fully on that bit of sky or that object. stay focused and aware. Then ask yourself how many times in your life you have ever done that? I agree that you need to know about birds and planes and fireballs and meteors and missiles and balloons and chinese lanterns and satellites and constellations and ball lightning and swamp gas and optical phenomena of all kinds and planets and on and on. It is wonderful to learn this stuff. Do it! Even if you never see a UFO (and you will) you must not pass a lifetime without fully engaging with the space around us and all the wonders it contains.

What you see through a telescope is a minute portion of the sky and the scope is focused at infinity so not much chance of accidentally finding something whizzing a few hundred or a few thousand feet overhead. Having said that, I first saw a boomerang UFO while gazing at the blurry smudge of the Andromeda Nebula through a pair of 8x40 binoculars. So you can do astronomy and bump into the unexpected. I followed it down to the blurry line of fuzz you get above a London skyline. It was both beautiful and terrifying. And I got some sort of mental imagery too. I put the imagery down to over excitement and.ignored that for a few years until I started exploring RV.

So - I complain in the Richard Dolan (and ilk) area that they are still banging on as if there is some doubt, or rather some need to convince others that there is no doubt about the existence of UFOs. We have to be way past that now. The debate has to be about who and what is driving these events. Clearly the tic-tac events recorded by the US Navy show that not only is this stuff for real but that it has no fear of the most powerful and most technologically advanced human military power on earth. It rather begs the question of who is in control here. Clearly not us.
